Our Mission:

As our name implies, Bag The Planet’s mission is to provide all forms of reusable Eco-Friendly bags to corporations, both large and small, and charitable service organizations globally. We are committed to being a leader in the “Green” movement by creating sustainable reusable products and increasing customer awareness of green alternatives. We donate 10% of profits to support the continued education and actions that will reduce the impact non-biodegradable plastics in our landfills and oceans around the world. Our donations support a number of causes, including the cleanup of the Great Eastern Garbage Patch, a plastic vortex of plastic twice the size of Texas. More information is provided below.

International Impact Of The Plastic Vortex:

International — Pacific Ocean -- The Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, the world’s largest and most recently designated marine reserve.

(1) Could be under threat from one of the world's largest floating rubbish dumps according to the international environmental group Greenpeace. Pollution, especially plastic, is a growing global threat to the oceans, choking and trapping wildlife at sea and on land according to a Greenpeace report.

(2) Plastic is gathered by ocean currents from around the North Pacific and endlessly circulates in the "Trash Vortex", an area that can grow to be the size of Texas, in the North Pacific gyre.
